Overview
This activity consists of ten modules. Each module includes a lecture video by one author on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). At the end of each module, the learner is required to complete a short post test. Post tests must be completed with an accuracy of 70% or better in order for the learner to receive continuing education credit.
Target Audience
This activity was designed for physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals interested in research and learning about complimentary and alternative medicine.

At the completion of this activity, the learner should be able to:
- Define complementary and alternative medicine.
- Discuss the principles of complementary and alternative medicine.
- Describe uses of complementary and alternative medicine.
- Identify research needs with complementary and alternative medicine.

If You Send Us Personal Information

If You Send Us E-mail

If You Fill Out Online Forms
Certain areas like the CME course registration and course evaluations include forms where you actively enter your personal information. We use this personal information to provide you with accurate continuing education credit. Specifically:
- When you register, we need to know your name, your location, specialty E-mail address, and mailing address. This allows us to process and fulfill ACCME requirements.
- When you complete the course evaluation we need to collect your opinions on the course so that we can process your continuing education credit and fulfill ACCME requirements. You do not have to provide non required information but it will help us to more accurately meets your educational needs.
- We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to the Web site or inform you that additional educational activities are available we think you may find valuable.

Some pages on this Web site employ "cookies." A cookie is a small file that a Web site stores on your computer to maintain a session.
